| Four workshops will be held throughout the year to educate the participants and provide them with the skills necessary to create a presentation that lives up to their full potential. Topics include: business plan writing, financial modeling and presentation skills by industry leaders and mentorship programs led by the Rotman New Ventures Group. |

Phase I |

| Held in March, participating teams will introduce their ideas and initial proposals of their business ideas. Subsequently, each team will be partnered up with a mentor with relevant industry expertise. |

Phase II |

| In May, the teams will submit their final proposals. Up to twenty top finalists will be chosen to give the final presentations at the Venture Fair. After the selection, mentors and finalists will work closely together in preparation for the first round presentations. |

Venture Fair |
|
| The Venture Fair will span over a weekend, with the first round of presentations leading up to the selection of five finalists. The twenty first round presentations will be judged by the junior judges, who will provide valuable feedback in terms of presentation skills, strategies and content. As a result, the final round presentations will exude a polished professionalism that will impress even the most seasoned of senior judges. The contestants will be evaluated on the basis of their presentations and their ideas. The winning team will be awarded the grand prize at the award ceremony, after which senior judges and finalists will have an opportunity to mix and mingle in the final dinner.
